Characterized by long, meditative guitar soundscapes, this is Dan Caine’s defining ambient album. As with all of his works to date, the guitar is the primary tool used to create interweaving, layered melodies and atmospheric soundscapes that are powerful and moving, and full of lucid imagery. It is the perfect example of Dan Caine’s intuitive, sub-conscious style of music making where conscious thought takes the back seat, and emotion and intuition guide the creative process. There is certainly no lack of transcendental moments here, and with every listen, each of the 8 tracks reveal something new, presenting subtle nuances that draw the listener into the music.
